Taylor, Ph.D. Dr. Taylor came to education in 1989 after careers in both computers and politics. She began her teaching career as a middle and high school mathematics teacher. After receiving her Masters Degree in gifted education, she taught students identified as talented and gifted and students eligible for special education services. Dr. Taylor's passion for teaching and differentiation guided her to pursue a doctorate of education in order to teach teachers about differentiation. Dr. Taylor is presently a professor of education at Western Oregon University.
