Our Focus For Improvement
- Increase overall reading and literature performance on state tests.
- Improve students' organizational skills.
- Develop character education programs that increase friendliness and student success.
Computer Laboratory
Provides experience with computer functions, as well as research tools and reading instruction for all students. A recent grant from Hewlett Packard will enable each student to work individually at a computer.
Raider Ropers Team
Develop rope-jumping skills in students from all grade levels. The Ropers perform at events throughout the Mid-Valley. Parent Volunteers are crucial to the team's success.
Community Events
Includes our fitness fundraiser, Harvest Festival, Scholastic book fair, school carnival, family math/fun night and Open House.
Deck the Halls
Canned Food Drive
Students donate vital supplies to the FISH social service charity.
Business Partnership
Business volunteers visit the school periodically to help students develop reading skills. Our business-school partner is Washington Mutual Bank.
Parents Are Our Partners
Parent-Teacher Organization (PTA)
A very active and dedicated group of volunteers help organize many events each year. PTA meetings are the first Monday of every month in the school library beginning @ 6:30 pm. Please feel free to join.
Domino's Dough Night ( 1st Monday of every month)
Clover Ridge Elementary and Domino's Pizza Clover Ridge PTA will receive 15% of all orders purchased on this date-Even when you use coupons. The class with the highest participation wins a free pizza party!!!!
Site Council
Parents work with school staff to coordinate staff development and school activities.
Covered Play Area
Thanks to fundraising by parent volunteers, we have 2 covered play areas.
Playground Equipment
Thanks to fundraising by parent volunteers, we have new equipment for our playground.
School Beautification Projects
Parents plant flowers and trees to brighten the landscaping of school grounds. This year, our school has received help from the PTA, business-school partner and district maintenance department in many beautification projects. We also have new benches and a flagpole in front of our school.
